RG Sound Labs RG 6.1 Pro Speakers (By Audible Physics)

The RG Sound Labs RG 6.1 Pro component speakers represent the RG Sound Labs brand, which, however, falls under the high-end manufacturer Audible Physics. Featuring the initials of Audible Physics founder and world-renowned high-end speaker designer Rishi Gurbani, RG Sound Labs loudspeakers are built for the strict audiophile for whom uncompromising sound is a life's mission. This corresponds not only to the materials used from all over the world, custom hand-made production with perfect craftsmanship, but also to our own patented technologies, which have no analogues in the world of vehicle sound systems. The RG Sound Labs RG 6.1 Pro loudspeakers are a showcase not only of this recognized manufacturer, but rightfully belong among the highest quality component systems on the market. At first glance, you will be struck by the luxurious design of these beautiful speakers. The mid-bass diaphragms are dominated by an eye-pleasing combination of black and copper, and the same applies to the large tweeters in a beautiful steel housing. Also worth mentioning is the cast basket with a high-performance ceramic magnet, also in a black copper combination. However, RG Sound Labs is not only about design, but above all about sound. The diaphragm is made of the patented Matrix Alloy Dome material from an alloy of magnesium and aluminum, which allows the reproduction of deep and impressive bass while maintaining clean and precise mid-range frequencies. This is helped by a world-unique in the form of a diaphragm offset from the center, which significantly helps to improve the overall frequency response of these speakers, which would not be conceivable if a classic diaphragm was used. In terms of sound, this design matches perfectly with the exclusive tweeters, also with the Matrix Alloy Dome membrane. It reaches a resonant frequency from the realm of dreams, which is an incredible 530 Hz. This is a value that even some center speakers are not ashamed of. And that, in addition to the inimitable sound quality, is the huge competitive advantage of this system, which is able to compete even with top three-way systems with a full-sized center speaker. It can therefore be used wherever it is not possible to install three-way speakers, or for some reason it is not desirable. So whether your goal is to participate in sound quality competitions or just desire perfect sound, with the RG Sound Labs RG 6.1 Pro you will achieve your goals.

RG Sound Labs RG 6 Pro mid-bass speakers

Design. This is the first thing you immediately notice about the RG 6 Pro mid-bass speakers, and it won't leave you cold. The combination of a black membrane and a large copper canopy is not only very elegant, but also exceptional in design. However, the composition of the membrane and the technology used are equally interesting. The diaphragm is made of the patented Matrix Alloy Dome material made from an alloy of magnesium and aluminum. This combination stands out for its excellent rigidity, vibration damping ability and also exemplary lightness, which enables the reproduction of deep and impressive bass while maintaining clean and precise mid-range frequencies. However, what really sets these speakers apart from all the competition is the misalignment of the diaphragm, which is also adapted to the speaker basket. This technologically demanding membrane solution helps to significantly improve the overall frequency response of these speakers, which would not be conceivable if a classic membrane was used. In addition, this design strengthens the membrane without increasing the weight and also increases the size of the membrane, which you will appreciate in the performance of the bass component. It is also worth noting the exemplary flat frequency response of the mid-bass, which is among the common characteristics of all Audible Physics and RG Sound Labs speakers. After turning the mid-bass speaker, we reveal another beauty in the form of a cast basket with powerful ceramic magnets, in a black-copper color combination. The specially designed cast speaker basket is exceptionally rigid, eliminates vibrations and does not deform as much when the diaphragm moves, as is the case with classic steel baskets. At the same time, it does not reduce the magnetic field and dissipates heat from the oscillating coil significantly more effectively. The massive gold-plated cable terminals, which we are more used to seeing on classic subwoofers, also attract attention. The coil and other copper components are made of the highest quality copper imported from Japan and Russia, which is known for its exceptional conductivity and durability. In the package you will also find designer hexagon grids with polished framing.

RG Sound Labs RG 1 HD tweeters

The RG 1 HD tweeters practically represent a class of their own. First of all, you will certainly notice the robust dimensions with a total diameter of 69 mm and the luxurious steel houses in a black-copper combination. There is a reason for these dimensions, which is the incredible resonance frequency of 530 Hz. That is, a value that is common even for some flat center speakers. Thanks to this range, the RG 1 HD tweeters are able to reproduce even higher mid-range frequencies and almost replace classic center speakers. In addition, these miraculous tweeters are capable of reaching frequencies of up to 40,000 Hz. The membrane of the tweeter, as in the case of the mid-bass speaker, is made of Matrix Alloy Dome material. It is a unique alloy of magnesium and aluminum, which in the case of tweeters offers several advantages, led by exceptional high-frequency details, analytically accurate sound and an extremely deep soundstage. This alloy dome impresses with its remarkable linearity of the frequency response curve and almost perfect neutrality. In addition, magnesium has excellent damping properties and, together with the very stiff aluminum in the alloy, significantly reduces distortion and mechanical deformation. The high quality 40mm neodymium magnet is optimized for better efficiency and improved linearity to ensure perfect power management and increase bandwidth and efficiency. The design of the alloy Matrix dome in copper color follows the canopy of the mid-bass membrane and optically forms a perfectly coordinated system, and not only in terms of sound.
